Our Toddlers class is the ultimate starting class for young children aged 2-3. It includes Jazz, Tap, Singing, Ballet, Exercises and even a little bit of hip hop. Parents are invited to stay and watch this class. The children should wear something comfortable to dance in (eg. leotard, shorts, leggings, dance top, tshirt or dancewear etc.) and can either wear Ballet shoes, Jazz shoes or may start with bare feet/sneakers. Tap shoes are also worn in this class but are not compulsory.
Classical Ballet Class is an Exam class that follows the CSTD Syllabus. With many grades aiming at all experience levels and abilities, this syllabi allows for a steady evolution of a Classical Dancers Skills. The children should wear a leotard and ballet skirts etc. with hair in a bun and ballet shoes (or bare feet when just starting out). Extra Notes: Although this is labeled as an Exam class, the children working the class do not necessarily have to take the Exam.
Tinies A and Tinies B is an Exam class which has been running for over 40 years. The syllabi set by the CSTD continues to evolve and keep consistent with local music trends and styles. Focusing on the basics of tap and jazz, this exam class is great in teaching Children about good dance technique and the rhythms of dance. Students need to wear dancewear, jazz/ballet shoes, tap shoes and have their hair in a bun. Students will also be required to bring a water bottle to every lesson.
